Dissertation award video

English description: On 18 October 2013, I received the award of the Foundation Science and Society at the University of Konstanz for the best dissertation in the social sciences in 2011/2012 at the University of Konstanz. The award is endowed with 3,000 €. After receiving the Südwestmetall Award in April 2013 (endowed with 5,000 €), this is the second award I received for my dissertation. The following video was presented at the Dies Academicus, the official award ceremony. It provides a non-technical short summary of my PhD research (in German).

Deutsche Beschreibung: Am 18. Oktober 2013 ist meine Dissertation mit dem Preis der Stiftung Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft an der Universität Konstanz ausgezeichnet worden. Der Preis ist mit 3.000 € dotiert und ehrt die beste sozialwissenschaftliche Dissertation im Studienjahr 2011/2012 an der Universität Konstanz. Nach dem Südwestmetall-Förderpreis (mit 5.000 € dotiert) ist dies die zweite Auszeichnung für meine Dissertation. Das folgende Video wurde am Dies Academicus zum Anlass der Preisverleihung gezeigt. Es bietet eine einfache und kompakte, deutschsprachige Zusammenfassung meines Promotionsprojekts.
